Perhaps thanks to widespread adoption of digital cameras, more people are showing interest in finding ways to share or exhibit their photos online.

Yahoo!’s Flickr or Google’s Picasa Web service are generally a good choice for such purpose but sometimes you want a special web site with your own domain address.

I wanted to help those who wanted to set up one’s own web site to upload their photos. I found recent versions of WordPress extremely useful for this purpose. And some of the free themes were pretty well-designed for the purpose of displaying photos.

HowtoSee.net is a web site set up to test those WordPress themes before I suggest them to my clients.

Now, tweaking the themes are often time-consuming and requires lots of trials and errors. And my clients might not necessarily like the style I think is right. It is never easy to satisfy any client.
